I am a highly experienced BAFTA winning Executive Producer with over 30 years industry experience.

Based in Scotland, I am currently the Executive Producer of Hungry Bear's Glasgow office and am lucky enough to be an Executive Producer on Gladiators, (BBC1) and Gladiators: Epic Pranks (CBBC).  I was also the Exec Producer on other Hungry Bear and Hungry Jay shows: David and Jay's Touring Toolshed (BBC2)  and Jay Blades: West End Through Time (Ch 5).

Previously I was a Commissioning Executive at Warner Bros Discovery UK, on the Lifestyle and Entertainment Team, across Yorkshire Auction House, Edinburgh Auction House, Derelict Rescue, Dales for Sale, Helicopter ER and My Dream Derelict Home in The Sun and worked closely with the Executive Producers at STV, Air TV and True North on these exciting series.

I have produced in both live and pre-recorded situations, in studio and location environments., and have a specialism in high volume, low cost content. 

Throughout my career I have worked in many genres including Ents, Features, Daytime and across different formats, and I spent many years working for CBBC and was and Executive Producer in the Children's Department in BBC Scotland for over 4 years, so I am fully across all the things to consider when working with children and producing Children's content.

In 2020  Last Commanders, a cross-genre Sci Fi drama/ gameshow series for CBBC, that I co-developed and Series Produced for OMG! Scotland won Best Entertainment Series at BAFTA Scotland.

I have a reputation for creating and developing innovative content, launching new shows and refreshing established brands whilst maintaining high production values and the original ‘vision’ and tone.  ​I'm an ambitious, reliable and hard working Executive Producer developing, producing and delivering exciting content, on time and on budget for all main UK broadcasters.

 

In Development I am creative, imaginative and innovative, whilst remaining practical and realistic. I try to provide a creative environment for any teams I'm leading and my background in production enables to help bring ideas to life.
